Cleeve Carers and Friendship group, this group reaches out to those in the Community who may not be Carers but are home alone or would simply like to meet with others for Friendship. Meetings 2pm St. Michael’s Hall. 
The outings programme September 28th, Taurus Crafts Centre. Coach fare for both trips £8, pick up point St. Michaels Hall car park at 10.30am. Anyone requiring a lift to pick up point or to meetings please contact 672029.

Discussion on the Future of Solar Energy

05 October 2018

On Friday October 5th, Transition Cleeve are joining with Hope for the Future in organising
a discussion on Government and the Future of Solar Energy at the Community Centre in
Stoke Orchard. A panel of experts, including Europe's largest solar development company
and the Gloucester Solar Energy Co-op will join with local MP, Alex Chalk in discussing
the issues. The Stoke Orchard venue has been chosen as a prime example of effective use of solar energy as well as other sustainable features. The event will run from 7 to 8.30pm and entry is free but booking through HTTP://HOPEFORTHEFUTURE.EVENTBRITE.CO.UK/?S=87898774 is advised

The Big Squeeze

14 October 2018

Transition Cleeve's 'Big Squeeze", the annual apple juicing event, is moving to Court Farm on the Stoke Orchard Road and will be on Sunday October 14, from 12 noon until 3pm.  You are invited to bring your windfalls along to be pressed. Please also bring a container to take away the juice.  We will also be harvesting apples at Grangefield Community Orchard on the morning of Saturday October 13 and welcome all pickers.  More information is available from transition.cleeve@googlemail.com or 01242 244785

Cleeve Chorale Concert

Advance notice of Cleeve Chorale’s forthcoming concert at St Michael and All Angel's Church, Bishop's Cleeve on Saturday November 17, at 7.30p.m.   Cleeve Chorale invites you to join them to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War 1.

The works performed will include those by Brahms, Elgar, Novello and Goodall.
